Carlos Melo Brito holds a degree in Economics from Universidade do Porto, an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a PhD in Marketing from the University of Lancaster (United Kingdom). He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics of Porto and at EGP-UPBS. He is the Pro-Rector for Entrepreneurship and director of UPTEC, the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto. As a consultant he has worked for several organizations, such as Instituto do Vinho do Porto, Sonae group, INESC and Serralves Foundation. He writes regularly in newspapers and journals and is author and co-author of several books on management, namely Estrutura e Din√Ęmica do Sector do Vinho do Porto, Marketing Internacional, Os Horizontes do Marketing, Com√©rcio Electr√≥nico ‚Äď Rela√ß√£o com Parceiros de Neg√≥cio, Resultados e Perspectivas das Empresas da Galiza e Norte de Portugal and Parcerias no Neg√≥cio Electr√≥nico.
