Dr. Mainemelis is associate professor at ALBA Graduate Business School and he also teaches, as visiting professor, at the University of Porto and London Business School. From 2001 to 2009 he was assistant professor at London Business School, where he taught in the MBA, Executive MBA, MSc in International Finance, Sloan Fellows, Ph.D. and Executive Education programs. His research focuses on creativity, learning and leadership and has has been published in leading academic journals, including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Annals, Research in Organizational Behavior, Leadership Quarterly, Creativity Research Journal, Management Learning, Journal of Management Inquiry and the Journal of Organizational Change Management. His studies have also been profiled in the popular press including The Times, The Sunday Times, The Financial Times, Kathimerini, Rotman Magazine, and Business Strategy Review. He has delivered several executive workshops in many different countries including: the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, South Korea, Dubai, Oman, Kuwait, Greece, Portugal, France, Serbia, and others. He has worked with leading organisations including Barclay’s, BT, Carrefour, Ericsson, Eurobank, Henkel, Lloyd’s, NovoNordisk, Piraeus Bank, Philip Morris, Public Power Corporation, Sonaecom, Vodafone, among others. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Academy of Management, the Creative Education Foundation and the European Group for Organizational Studies.
