Accreditations

The MBA programs at Porto Business School are bearers of two international accreditations: AMBA and EPAS.

AMBA (Association of MBAs)

The Association of MBAs is an international accreditation agency which is specialized in post-graduate programs for executive training, namely MBAs (Master of Business Administration), DBAs (Doctorate of Business Administration) and MBMs (Masters in Business and Management). Porto Business School obtained the AMBA accreditation for its offer of MBAs in 2008, for a period of 5 years, thus joining a restricted group of about 200 Business Schools all over the world with such a distinction.

EPAS (EFMD Programme Accreditation System)

This accreditation system was developed by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and aims at assessing the quality and certifying management training programs with an international character, basing itself upon a set of formal norms and best practices associated to the best schools in the world. The MBA programs at Porto Business School bear the EPAS accreditation since 2011, thus joining a restricted group of about 100 programs all over the world with such an accreditation.
