Sustainability Projects and Reports


Sustainable Act

An initiative funded by Portugal 2020 and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), designed to empower SMEs to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project focuses on knowledge transfer and provides diagnostic and implementation tools to help companies adopt more sustainable practices aligned with the transition to a green economy. Results include the integration of ESG methodologies into business operations, the creation of a national sustainability barometer, and the development of a “Sustainable SME” seal that recognizes companies with a clear and active commitment to sustainability.

Unveiling Tomorrow’s Sustainability

In 2024, Porto Business School, in partnership with HAG.Group, launched the Unveiling Tomorrow’s Sustainability Report, an in-depth study that examines the ecosystem and stakeholders driving biotechnology, nature-based solutions, and related fields. The report reflects Porto Business School’s commitment to applied research and fuels an informed discussion on sustainable innovation and business impact.

Nature-based Solutions Foundations

Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) address critical challenges such as climate change, food security, and disaster resilience by leveraging ecosystems to drive sustainable growth and business innovation.
