The author, Maria João Antunes, shares without secrets and reservations, her 35 years of experience in the corporate world, of which more than 25 were in top management positions in Portuguese and multinational companies.
The book is divided into two distinct parts: inspiring success stories and practical recommendations and tools to break the barrier that still exists to the top, despite the advances already made. The author refers to this barrier as the "glass ceiling," a metaphor that inspired the book's cover.
