Life, Color, and Greed: Art Exhibition by IMAH Atelier

Date
26 of May, 2025

From June 4 to July 18, the Information Resources Centre of Porto Business School presents the exhibition “Life, Color, and Greed.” This artistic showcase features a series of works by IMAH Atelier, founded by Maressa Balbino and Igor Dias, exploring local fauna and flora through their creative lens.

The pieces on display express, in an emotional way, two opposing sides of today’s world. On one hand, the vibrant life and colors of Portugal are celebrated, with a special focus on the beauty of native flowers. On the other, human-driven wildfires are critically portrayed through more subdued tones, highlighting the Iberian lynx as one of the species most affected by these fires.

Through photography and paintings exhibited on campus, Porto Business School recognizes artistic talent while reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

IMAH Atelier is a space for artistic expression and inclusion. By placing art at the intersection of environmental awareness and social sensitivity, the studio promotes workshops and knowledge exchange with other artists. Located on Rua Tomás Ribeiro, the atelier functions as a learning lab—offering a peaceful environment for experimenting with materials like jesmonite, watercolor, and acrylic painting, among others.
