Luís Patrão Scholarship

Turismo de Portugal launches the 3rd edition of the Luís Patrão Scholarship, with a total endowment of €1,000,000 and 20 grants available for professionals with a passion for management, tourism, and related fields.

Porto Business School’s commitment to empowering high-performance professionals takes a new step forward with the 3rd edition of the Luís Patrão Scholarship, an initiative by Turismo de Portugal designed to support the next generation of leaders who will shape the future.

This scholarship represents far more than a funding opportunity. It stands as an accelerator for success, crafted for those who demonstrate passion, creativity, and commitment in areas such as management, economics, administration, finance, marketing, and tourism.

How the Scholarship Works

Category A — 10 scholarships

Undergraduate degrees, postgraduate programmes, master’s degrees, and MBAs at Portuguese universities ranked in the CWTS Leiden ranking, the Financial Times ranking, and at internationally renowned institutions.

Category B — 10 scholarships

Specialized professional training, for those seeking to deepen technical and sector-specific competencies in a more targeted way.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be aged 35 or under as of 31 December 2026, with effective residency in Portugal.
  • Hold a Level 6 qualification (undergraduate degree) in any scientific field, completed with a final grade of 14 out of 20 or above.
  • Hold a Level 4 or 5 qualification in professional education, or a Level 6 higher education qualification, with a final grade of 14 out of 20 or above.

Porto Business School firmly believes that financial resources should never stand in the way of talent.
