Porto Business School and Instituto COPPEAD sign international student exchange agreement

Date
02 of July, 2025

Porto Business School has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Instituto COPPEAD de Administração, the business school of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), reinforcing its position in the global executive education landscape.

COPPEAD stands out as the only public business school in Brazil with EFMD accreditation and a consistent presence in global business school rankings. This new agreement marks a strategic step in expanding Porto Business School’s international network, fostering academic mobility and multicultural learning experiences.

The agreement establishes a long-term student exchange programme for master’s students from both institutions:
COPPEAD students will have the opportunity to study at Porto Business School between September and December;
Porto Business School students will be able to attend COPPEAD between May and December.

This exchange ensures full academic integration, access to campus facilities, and recognition of academic credits. Above all, it offers a truly international learning experience — one that builds global skills and enhances the career prospects of participating students.

With an initial duration of five years, the agreement reflects the shared commitment of Porto Business School and Instituto COPPEAD to academic excellence, internationalisation, and the development of future-ready leaders for a global context.
