With a total fund of €150,000, this initiative creates an opportunity for candidates with Mozambican nationality, in Mozambique or in the diaspora, to access Porto Business School MBAs, recognized among the best in the world by the Financial Times rankings. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, until the full allocation of the available fund.

Portugal and Mozambique share a history, a language and a common ambition: to develop talent capable of transforming organizations and generating impact across Lusophone economies. It is from this academic, business and cultural bridge that Porto Business School is launching a scholarship program dedicated to Mozambican talent.

The initiative is aimed at candidates with Mozambican nationality, regardless of their country of residence, including professionals living in Mozambique and members of the diaspora. With a total fund of €150,000, approximately 11 million Mozambican meticais, the program aims to facilitate access to world-class international executive education and accelerate the development of leaders prepared for global, multicultural and rapidly changing contexts.

More than financial support, this program is a call to action for young professionals, women executives, entrepreneurs, rising managers and high-potential candidates to Porto Business School’s MBAs who want to expand their impact in Mozambican, Portuguese or international organizations.

Porto Business School’s MBAs are ranked among the best in the world by the Financial Times. Through this program, that level of education becomes more accessible to Mozambican talent with the ambition to lead, innovate and create economic and social value.

Applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Scholarships will be awarded subject to admission, merit assessment and available funding, until the full allocation of the fund. Once the fund has been fully allocated, the opportunity will close.

“This initiative is born from a simple conviction: Mozambique’s future is also built through the development of leaders who are able to make decisions, innovate and transform. We want Mozambican professionals, whether in Mozambique or in the diaspora, to see Porto Business School as a bridge to accelerate their careers and expand their impact. This is a rare, limited and concrete opportunity, and the time to act is now,” says José Esteves, Dean of Porto Business School.

The programs covered include Porto Business School’s MBAs: the International MBA, the Executive MBA and the Global Online MBA, with formats designed for different profiles, geographies and career stages.

The MBAs integrate an AI-first approach, preparing participants to lead in contexts of accelerated transformation driven by artificial intelligence and to use technology as a strategic dimension of decision-making, innovation, productivity and organizational impact.

The International MBA is a full-time, on-campus program designed for professionals seeking an immersive learning experience, management skills development, networking, international exposure and a strong connection to the business community. The Executive MBA is a part-time program for experienced professionals who want to combine their professional activity with the development of leadership, strategic decision-making and the ability to transform organizations. The Global Online MBA is an online, part-time program designed for professionals in different geographies who seek a global vision of leadership with the flexibility to learn from anywhere.

For Porto Business School, this initiative reinforces its commitment to the Lusophone space and creates opportunities for collaboration with academic institutions, business entities and Mozambican organizations, promoting talent mobility, knowledge exchange and projects with economic and social impact.

With this scholarship program, Porto Business School reinforces its commitment to developing leaders capable of turning knowledge into action, ambition into impact and talent into the future. The opportunity is open, but limited: scholarships will be awarded based on merit and until the available fund is fully allocated.
