Organized as part of the Executive Master in Finance and Taxation, this session aims to contribute to a strategic reading of the international political and economic landscape.

In a global context marked by geopolitical instability, inflationary pressures, the reconfiguration of value chains, the energy and digital transitions, and a new cycle of economic policies in Europe, this session offers an informed perspective on the key forces shaping the global economy and their direct impact on Europe and the Portuguese economy.

Eduardo Catroga, former Minister of Finance of Portugal, will share his perspective on the topic, drawing on extensive governmental, institutional, and business experience. The session will open with remarks by José Esteves, Dean of Porto Business School, and the discussion will be moderated by Elísio Brandão, Director of the Executive Master in Finance and Taxation.

January 23, at 18:00, at Porto Business School.
