Session on Inclusive Culture, in partnership with Associação Salvador
On July 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Porto Business School, in collaboration with Associação Salvador, will host In Awareness — a session dedicated to raising awareness about inclusive culture, designed for the PBS community.
The goal is to promote greater awareness, challenge common misconceptions about disability and diversity, and reflect on how small everyday actions can help build a culture of respect, inclusion, and belonging.
Topics to be covered:
– Disability and Diversity: Understanding disability as part of human diversity, breaking down stereotypes, and encouraging an inclusive mindset.
– Bias and Active Engagement: Identifying unconscious biases and common myths about difference — and exploring their impact on interpersonal and professional relationships.
– Barriers and Enablers to Inclusion: Examining physical, communication, and attitudinal barriers, and sharing strategies to create more accessible and inclusive environments.
– Practical Applications and Inclusion Strategies: Sharing tools and everyday behaviors that can promote a culture of inclusion and respect.
