Following COP30 in Belém, Brazil, countries entered a new cycle of climate ambition, with updated NDCs that will guide regulation, financing, and the signals shaping corporate strategies across Europe and Portugal. These outcomes raise expectations for how businesses decarbonise, innovate, and mobilise investment.

At the same time, global climate governance remains challenged by geopolitical tensions and fragmented frameworks. In this talk, the panel will discuss the main outcomes of COP30 and explore how they influence climate policy and investment decisions, particularly for companies positioning themselves in an increasingly competitive low-carbon economy.
