This Code outlines the values and principles that define Porto Business School. These are embraced wholeheartedly by the institution and all those who collaborate with it, reflecting their shared commitment.

More than a Business School
One of the best business schools in Europe
Our history
Porto Business School stands out as a truly unique institution, shaped by its origins in collaboration with some of Portugal’s most prominent companies.
With over 35 years of expertise in executive education, our journey began as ISEE – Instituto Superior de Estudos Empresariais (1988-2000), evolved into EGP – Escola de Gestão do Porto (2000-2008), and ultimately became EGP-UPBS.
Our mission is to empower individuals to think critically, devise their own solutions, anticipate future challenges, explore alternative scenarios, and redefine strategies. In essence, we drive meaningful change—a principle that has been at the core of our identity since 1988.

“We face with enthusiasm the opportunities of the future in such relevant areas of the business sector, such as digital transformation, sustainability, and, naturally, talent. We are committed to solid and reinforced leadership towards new levels of academic excellence and impact on society.”
José Esteves
