Biography
Holding a degree in Economics from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, he served in the central departments of the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority as Head of the Corporate Income Tax (IRC) Assessment Division, and currently serves as CEO of Ivojoma – Formação e Fiscalidade, Lda., while also leading tax advisory at Tax Vision and Vision Walls, a tax consultancy project for the real estate sector.
He is a trainer at several institutions, namely the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC), the Order of Statutory Auditors (OROC), and Apeca, and is a member of the OCC’s Supervisory Board.
He is the author of several technical articles on taxation and training manuals, and published the “Código Fiscal do Investimento – anotado e comentado” [“Investment Tax Code – annotated and commented”] in 2017. He was also a visiting professor at IERU, University of Coimbra, and a World Bank consultant on tax matters in Cape Verde.
