Biography
Rear Admiral António Gameiro Marques holds a degree in Naval Military Sciences, Navy Branch.
He earned a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, USA. Since 1 September 2016, he has served as Director-General of the National Security Office, thereby acting as the National Security Authority. The National Cybersecurity Centre is part of the structure of the National Security Office.
