Biography
Researcher at the National Defence Institute, where previously served as Head of the Porto Delegation, and Coordinator of the Geopolitical Risk Observatory for Companies (ORGE) at Porto Business School. Also Professor and Researcher at Porto Business School and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto, as well as a European Union Observer for EU Election Observation Missions (EU EOMs).
Consultant to several companies on Defense, Security, and Geopolitical Risk. Portuguese Army Officer in the Reserve, with experience in eight international missions.
Author of several books, academic articles, and commentary pieces in the fields of Security, Defense, International Relations, Geopolitical Risk, and Strategic Foresight, with a regular presence in the media analyzing and commenting on current geopolitical affairs.
Holds a degree in Military Sciences from the Portuguese Military Academy, a Master’s degree in International Relations from Universidade Portucalense, and a qualification in Business Administration from Porto Business School.
