Biography
Miguel Vieira is a project management consultant, trainer, and keynote speaker with more than 20 years of international experience in project leadership, organizational transformation, and business execution. His areas of expertise include project, programme, and portfolio management, project governance, PMO development, organizational change, leadership development, and the application of project management practices to strategic initiatives.
He has worked across multiple sectors, including services, industry, infrastructure, information and communication technologies, and the public sector, supporting both national and international transformation programms. In addition to his consulting and training activities, he teaches at higher education institutions, contributing to the development of project management professionals.
He is Past President and current Chair of the Supervisory Board of PMI Portugal, the Portuguese chapter of the world’s leading project management association. He also served as PMI Youth and Social Impact Region Advisor for Europe and is the Portuguese judge for the PMI Global PMO Awards.
Miguel has held the PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification since 2005 and holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
