Biography
Joana Carvalho is a Human Resources consultant, executive educator, and talent management specialist with more than 15 years of experience.
Her areas of expertise include organizational behavior, career coaching, leadership development, talent management, and the design of people strategies aligned with business objectives. Her approach combines strong business acumen with a deep understanding of human behavior, helping organizations translate people challenges into sustainable business outcomes.
Joana is Founder & Partner at ARGO, where she leads Business Development and Team Management and oversees strategic projects focused on talent attraction, development, and retention. In addition to her consulting work, she is a Guest Lecturer at Nova School of Business and Economics and Porto Business School, delivering executive education and postgraduate programs on career management, talent attraction, and people development.
She is certified in Career Coaching by Lee Hecht Harrison, a global leader in career development and workforce transformation, and is co-author of the book “Seja o CEO da Sua Carreira”. She holds a Master’s degree in HRM from the Portuguese Catholic University.
