Biography
Maria Costa has solid experience in developing people through coaching, facilitation and training in the areas of communication, leadership and teams. She regularly collaborates on projects with a global dimension, with companies such as ILD (http://ildynamics.com), Mannaz (www.mannaz.com), AMCI (www.amciglobal.com) and MSX International (www.msxi.com). Since 2012 with AMCI and more recently with MSX, she has been part of the Consumer Experience Movement, a global Ford Motor Company initiative based on the Appreciative Inquiry approach, as a coach initially for Angola and now for Portugal and until December 2017 as a Market Field Mentor Coach for Turkey, Greece and before that, for Africa. In Portugal, she is a guest lecturer at Porto Business School, for postgraduate courses and in-company programs, in the areas of communication, coaching and the development of leadership and personal skills. She has experience in training new coaches as a teacher, mentor and supervisor in programs certified by the ICF (ACTP). As a coach she works directly and with partners for corporate clients in Portugal and globally. She is a member of the SUN Success Unlimited Network Community and EEE Experiential Educators Europe. She is accredited in MBTI Step I & II by CAPT, New York, PCC Professional Certified Coach by ICF, Presentation Skills Training by Communication Training, Inc. and Executive Coaching by Escuela Europea de Coaching de Madrid. Degree in Management and Public Administration, specialization in Human Resources Management, ISCSP, Technical University of Lisbon. Fluent in English and Spanish, languages in which she regularly works. She has a good knowledge of Italian and French and can also work with small groups in these languages. Mother of two boys since 1990 and 1991, Maria is an open person with a very positive attitude to life, accepting every opportunity as a means of learning and developing herself and others, whose purpose in life is to establish relationships in order to support and help others to expand and discover better ways of living.
