Biography
Miguel Alves Agostinho is Regional Director of FMHOUSE, Director of EuroFM and CEO of the Portuguese Body of Facility Managers (APFM.pt). Miguel has also been an Ambassador for the European Facility Management Network (EuroFM.org) and a member of the Program Advisory Board of the European Facility Management Conference (EFMC), as well as organizer of the CEN/TC348 working group responsible for designing the Roles, Competencies and Responsibilities framework within facility management. In addition to his passion for enabling a better quality of life through the spaces people use and occupy, Miguel guides pro bono entrepreneurs taking their first steps, especially those eligible for Microcredit. Miguel’s background is mostly in Sales and Marketing, having worked in Private and Public Organizations, but also managing European Social Fund projects on gender equality and public policies on Lifelong Learning and Employment. Miguel has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon (tecnico.ulisboa.pt) and a postgraduate degree in Sales Management from ISCTE-IUL (iscte-iul.pt).
