Biography
José Miguel Espregueira is an experienced Chief Information Officer with more than twenty years of professional activity across the industrial, logistics, retail, tourism and services sectors. Holding an Executive MBA, he designs, selects and implements complex information systems that enhance operational efficiency and strengthen organisational performance. His recognised leadership capabilities, strategic vision and entrepreneurial mindset underpin the analytical approach with which he addresses every challenge.
He currently leads the corporate Information Technology division at Desfo Holding, a group comprising several companies in Portugal and Mozambique.
In parallel, he develops entrepreneurial initiatives and provides consultancy to organisations seeking to adopt Artificial Intelligence solutions, with a particular focus on process automation. His ability to balance strategic decision-making, the leadership of multidisciplinary teams and a strong drive for innovation reflects a consistent commitment to technology as a catalyst for business growth.
