Biography
Norberto Amaral is the author of the book ‘Impacto – Como Comunicar em Público’ (Penguin Random House, 2019), which brings together his extensive experience in public speaking and presentation training. He leads and organizes TEDxPorto, the largest TEDx event in Portugal and one of the largest in the world, which brings some of the best ideas from the city and around the world to a stage in Porto. He has organized and spoken at more than 160 TEDx events, Ignite, speech competitions, creative sessions, strategic workshops, among many others. He has been a Toastmaster since 2011, having previously been president and vice-president of education of a club, area director and division director. He recently achieved the rank of Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest in the organization. Norberto Amaral is Managing Partner at Cultiv, a communications, creativity and innovation consultancy, event organization and workspace design company.
