Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering and Management from FEUP. Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at FEUP. Collaborator in the Industrial Engineering and Management Research Unit of INESC TEC Associated Laboratory. Specialist in supply chain planning, with an emphasis on food products. He was a supply chain analyst at Total Raffinage Marketing (France). Consultant/researcher in various projects related to Operations Management supported by different types of organizations. Author of several publications in international journals in the field of operations research (International Journal of Production Economics, Industrial Engineering and Chemistry Research, Computers and Chemical Engineering, Interfaces, among others).
