Biography
Raul Magalhães is Head of International Logistics for Sonae’s retail companies, Modelo Continente, Worten, Sports and Fashion. He coordinates and manages import and export flows, including customs. He was Sonae’s Transport Director, Operations Director of the Modelo Bonjour chain and Director of the Continente Hypermarket. He is President of APLOG – Associação Portuguesa de Logística and a member of Eurocommerce’s International Trade Committee and AECOC’s Logistics and Transport Committees. He has a post-graduate degree in Internationalization from Porto Business School, a degree in Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and has completed various courses at PBS, AESE – Escola de Direção de Negócios, London Business School, Babson College and Cranfield School of Management.
