Biography
PhD in Management Sciences, Master’s in Economics, and a Bachelor’s in Management from the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto (FEP).
Professor at FEP since 1996, teaching in areas such as Optimization, Logistics and Operations Management, Accounting, Quality, and Project Management. At Porto Business School, she has taught Logistics and Operations since 2006 and has delivered executive education for Banco Santander and Northern Municipal Councils.
Her research focuses on Optimization, Lean, Operations Management, E-commerce, Innovation, Internationalization, and Quality Management, with publications in journals such as the International Journal of Production Research and Innovation: Organization & Management.
She has organized and participated in numerous international conferences, including EIBA, EURO, EUROSIS, and APDIO.
Currently, she is Director of the Bachelor’s in Management at FEP, member of FEP’s Scientific Council, and of the Scientific Committee of the Master’s in Management. She also serves as Coordinator for Quality and Accreditation of MBA and Postgraduate Programs at Porto Business School, where she is a member of the Academic Council
