Biografia
He is a Professor at the University of Porto, teaching at both the School of Economics and Management (FEP) and Porto Business School (PBS), and serves as a corporate consultant. Since 1999, he has been a partner at a family-owned consulting firm specializing in strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, organizational redesign, and the development and implementation of financial reporting systems.
Since 2007, he has lectured on Financial Reporting and Financial Management across MBA, postgraduate, and executive programs at Porto Business School. Between 2015 and 2020, he served as the director of the school’s Executive MBA. His career also includes roles at Coopers & Lybrand and Cosec – Companhia de Seguros de Crédito, as well as serving as an external consultant to the Porto Derivatives Exchange.
He is a member of the Audit Committee for several companies and the Porto Digital Association. In collaboration with PBS consulting projects, he has supported the development and implementation of growth strategies for Portuguese companies and advised on corporate and organizational structuring. He holds a degree in Management and a PhD in Business Sciences from the University of Porto.
