Biography
Rute Gonçalves completed her PhD in Management, specializing in Accounting and Management Control, at the University of Porto in 2016. She teaches accounting at the University of Porto’s School of Economics and more recently at Porto Business School. Previously, she worked in financial auditing at RSM Portugal (1999–2001). Since 2001, she has been part of the RAR Group, where she currently serves as an accounting supervisor. She frequently participates in conferences on the adoption of IAS/IFRS standards. Recently, she co-authored the book Accounting for Biological Assets with Patrícia Teixeira Lopes, published by Routledge.
