Biography
Tiago is a guest professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), where he teaches and conducts research on software engineering, with a focus on web development, software processes, and tooling. He holds a Ph.D. (Cum Laude) in Software Engineering from FEUP, based on his research into architectures for efficient cloud computing.
In the industry, Tiago leads product development at Kevel, a U.S.-based company that empowers brands to enhance their data-conscious digital marketing initiatives. He reached this role following the acquisition of ShiftForward by Velocidi in 2018 and later by Kevel in 2022.
Tiago is also an external researcher at INESC-TEC, where he has secured several full-time research grants. He has organized multiple editions of the EuroPLoP conference and serves on the board of the nonprofit organization Hillside Europe.
