Biography
Founder of Aliados Consulting, a firm specializing in innovation and sustainability, with extensive consulting experience for companies, metropolitan areas, municipalities, and social economy organizations. Executive Director of InvestAmarante, an investment promotion agency for the Municipality of Amarante, responsible for attracting numerous national and international investments and creating the “Amarante Tech Hub” technology cluster. Manager of the European Urbact project “iPlace—Finding Niches for Sustainable Economic Development,” as well as co-manager of the European projects “Beepathnet” and “City Centre Doctor.” University lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation at ESEP and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Mentor and trainer to dozens of entrepreneurs and social innovators, collaborating with IES Social Business School. Participated in humanitarian missions in Mozambique, establishing projects aimed at tackling malnutrition, reducing school dropout rates, and fostering sustainable economic development. Holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and pursued a master’s-level program in Innovation Economics and Management at the University of Porto.
