Biography
Degree in Economics from FEP (Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto) and an MBA from the ISEE-UP. Since 1990 he has worked as a guest Assistant Professor of the FEP on the Cost Accounting subjects, Management Accounting and Management Computing. He also monitored several professional training courses in the field of management. He was Senior Manager of the Management Consultancy Division of Price Waterhouse. He has performed Administration and Management posts in industrial and service companies based in the north of the country. He formed part of the team which created and started the Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, S.A., a consultancy company, which is dedicated to the design and coordination of projects in the field of innovation and internationalisation. He was also responsible for the implementation team of ERP software at Amorim Revestimentos, S.A., a project which encompassed around 12 companies in various European countries. He is a free-lance Consultant in the fields of corporate strategy, working with the Studies Centre of EGP-UPBS.
