Jorge Henriques
Graduated by The Portuguese Federation of Basketball as Level III National Coach.
Holds an important Curriculum as a professional coach. Was assistant coach for the national team of upcoming male players and main technician in teams such as:
Associação Académica de Coimbra, Clube Atlético de Queluz, CAB Madeira e Aveiro-Basket.
In the 2005/2006 season, he left the sports competition to devote himself to training staff executives,maintaining a close colaboration with TeamWork Consultores, in areas such as TeamWork,Leadership and Coaching. He specialized in the last two
areas through international certifications:
• “Coaching for High Performance”, by Europe Management Centre
•“Leadership Style for Managers”, by Europe Management Centre
• Certified Coach by ICC- International Coaching Community
He possesses a vast training experience, with over 3000 hours of training with big national and international teams in Portugal and in PALOP’S in intervention areas like:
• Team Management and Leadership ;
• Coaching one-to-one;
• Team Coaching
• Teamwork
• Teambuilding
• Negotiation Techniques;
• Communication in Public;
• Assessment
Currently, besides being a consultant, he is a member of TeamWork Executive Comission and Educational Manager.
Collaborates in several sports publications:
• Co-author of the book ”Changing is necessary”;
• Author of Basketball Training Manual;
