Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering and Industrial Management by FEUP. Invited Assistant Professor at the FEP Scientific Management Group. Senior Researcher at the Industrial Engineering and Management Research Unit at INESC TEC Associated Laboratory. Specialist in supply chain planning, with an emphasis on integrated transport and distribution planning. He was a researcher at the University of Groningen, where he developed new optimization and simulation methods for planning operations in offshore wind turbine farms. Consultant/researcher in several projects related to Operations Management supported by different types of entities. Author of several publications in international journals in the field of operational research (Omega, European Journal of Operations Research, Transportation Research Part E, Interfaces, among others).
