The University of Porto, through the Porto Business School and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto, have just received the AACSB international accreditation, becoming part of the restricted group of less than 6% of the business schools in the world with this accreditation.
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the oldest global accreditation body for business schools and the largest management education network connecting students, education institutions and businesses worldwide, with over 1700 affiliated organisations in more than 100 countries and territories. Synonymous with the highest quality standards, AACSB Accreditation inspires new ways of thinking within management education globally, ensuring continuous improvement and helping schools to fulfil their mission and innovate.
Today's students are tomorrow's business leaders. The accreditation of the schools of Economics and Management of the University of Porto - the Faculty of Economics and the Porto Business School - in the network of business schools accredited by AACSB will have a positive and lasting impact for both.
Achieving AACSB Accreditation was an important milestone for us, mainly to help us continue to improve the quality of our programs and, thus, better respond to the needs of those who seek Porto Business School to "make change happen".
