Why this program?

  • Risk perception, sustainability and resilience are now of unavoidable importance to organizations in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria. Multiple types of events with a global impact have made it imperative to identify, analyze and anticipate risks in order to define internal plans for mitigating and responding to crises.
  • The uncertainties of the future therefore lead organizations to prioritize risk analysis and frame it within the concerns of corporate governance and stakeholder relations. The need to have effective strategic plans also means involving the highest levels of management in this area, with regulators often demanding direct intervention from the C-level.
  • In terms of risks, in the current context of globalization and regional economic integration, geopolitical issues have repercussions that they did not have in the past. They cause amplified shockwaves, which are felt by most companies dependent on global or regional supply or distribution chains.
  • The Geopolitical Risk and Strategy for Executives program is an update of the Strategic Games and Geopolitics for Executives program.

The program is held in partnership with the National Defense Institute.
